Karan Gokani | Author, Chef & Restaurateur

Karan moved to England in 2005 to study law at Cambridge before leaving the profession in 2012 to pursue his passion for food. He co-founded Hoppers, a Sri Lankan and South Indian restaurant which earned Bib Gourmand. He has authored two cookbooks, Hoppers: The Cookbook, and Indian 101. He runs 'Feeding the Future' campaign which supports eductaion and nutrition for children in Sri Lanka.

Jayant is the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; and for Education. He is a prominent national leader dedicated to youth, farmers, and rural communities. He combines global economic training with a deep commitment to grassroots development. He has served as MP from Mathura and contributed 100% of his MPLADS funds to strengthening sports infrastructure. Known for his data-driven approach and people-first leadership, he is driving key reforms in skills, apprenticeships, and education to build a more equitable and future-ready India.
